5 weeks. Real market conditions. Test fast.
The Stacks Foundry: Validate program is for early-stage builders ready to test an idea, MVP, or project with real users before building too far.
No fluff. No passive learning. Just structured execution to find out what's true.
If you have an early idea, MVP, or project and you’re unsure whether it's worth investing more time and money into, the Stacks Foundry: Validate program is for you. It's the program for builders who want real signal before they commit another month to building.
Applications are open until May 15th. The program launches May 11th with an onboarding session and concludes June 19th.
The problem we seek to solve
Most early-stage builders move too quickly from conviction to building. They mistake excitement for demand, feedback for validation, ecosystem enthusiasm for product pull. By the time they realize the opportunity was weaker than they thought, they've already sunk months into the wrong thing.
In crypto especially, attention is not demand. A wave of "this sounds cool" replies, a viral tweet, ecosystem warmth, none of it tells you whether real users actually care. The cheapest moment to find that out is before you've built anything.
That's where the Stacks Foundry: Validate program comes in.
What it is
Validate is a 5-week, execution-led program designed to help you identify and pressure-test an opportunity worth building on Bitcoin via Stacks.
The structure is simple. The program kicks off with an onboarding week where you define what you're actually validating and where your biggest assumptions are. Then five core weeks of focused work take place:
- Week 1 — Problem Validation. Find out whether the problem is real, specific, and worth solving.
- Week 2 — User + Market Wedge. Identify who cares most and where your strongest early opportunity may be.
- Week 3 — Value Proposition Test. Test whether your message lands and creates interest.
- Week 4 — Solution + MVP Signal. Put something in front of real users and see whether they take action.
- Week 5 — Validation Review. Synthesize your findings and decide whether to continue, pivot, narrow, or stop.
Each week follows the same rhythm: a focused masterclass that gives you the framework, an execution sprint where you apply it in the real world, and a hot seat where you share results and get feedback. Total commitment is roughly 4–6 hours per week.
Core programming runs May 18 – June 19.
Who it's for
You don't need a finished product. You don't need a polished deck. You don't need to have your idea figured out.
Validate is for early-stage founders and builders exploring Stacks, Bitcoin-native products, or ideas that may have a meaningful reason to exist in the Bitcoin economy. It's a fit if:
- You have an idea, MVP, prototype, or early project
- You're ready to test it with real users
- You can commit to weekly execution
- You're open to changing direction based on what the evidence tells you
- You want real signal before seeking deeper ecosystem support
It's not a fit if you're looking for someone to hand you the answers, want passive content without doing the work, are only looking for funding, aren't willing to talk to users, or aren't open to changing direction based on what you learn. Validate is for self-driven builders ready to go find the answers.
What's different about this program
The masterclasses give you frameworks, but this isn't a lecture series. You'll be running interviews, shipping validation assets, asking for real commitments, and observing actual user behavior. You learn, apply, and learn again.
You'll leave with real signal, not just a sharper pitch. By the end of five weeks, you should have a clearer validation thesis, a sharper understanding of your earliest users, real feedback from the market, stronger positioning for your idea, and a grounded decision on whether to continue, pivot, narrow, or stop.
It's low-stakes and free to apply and to participate. The weekly time commitment is realistic for someone who has a job or a life. There's no prize, no pitch competition, and not a required demo day. Simply a structure that helps serious builders make sharper decisions, faster.
Validate is a structured pressure test for your idea, a fast way to get real market signal, and a community of builders ready to execute. It is not a mentorship-heavy program, a grant program, a guaranteed path to funding, or a passive learning experience. It's the top of the Foundry funnel, and for builders whose ideas show real signal during the program, it's a natural introduction into the rest of the Stacks Foundry ecosystem.
Why it's worth your time
The cheapest moment to find out an idea isn't quite right is before you've built it. Five weeks of structured validation now can save you a year of misdirected building later. And if the evidence comes back strong, you'll exit the program with the kind of grounded conviction, and documented signal, that makes every conversation that follows easier.
Apply
Applications are open now. The cohort starts May 18.
If you've been sitting on an idea for the Bitcoin economy and want to find out whether it's real before you commit to building it, this is the cleanest, lowest-risk way to do that work.
