Why Validate
In crypto, attention is not demand. Validate helps you test whether real users actually care before you keep building.
Validate helps builders move beyond vague interest, ecosystem excitement, or “this sounds cool” feedback and test whether real users actually care.
The goal is simple: Find out what is true before you keep building.

Faqs
Is This an Accelerator?
No. Validate is not an accelerator. There are no equity arrangements, no formal investor introductions, and no promises of funding. It is a structured validation program for early-stage builders.
Is This a Grant Program?
No. Validate is not a grant program and participation does not guarantee funding.
Builders who generate strong signal may be better prepared for future ecosystem opportunities, but Validate itself is focused on testing ideas, not awarding funding.
Do I Need a Product to Apply?
No.
You just need an idea, MVP, prototype, or early-stage project that you are serious about testing.
How Much Time Should I Expect to Commit Each Week?
Plan for around 4–6 hours per week, including sessions, weekly exercises, user outreach, and testing.
Validate is lightweight, but not passive. The more seriously you execute between sessions, the more useful the program will be.
Will I Get 1:1 Mentorship?
No. Validate is intentionally low-touch.
You will have frameworks, group accountability, operator-style feedback in the hot seat sessions, and access to the cohort chat.
What Happens After the 5 Weeks?
There are no guarantees.
Builders who generate strong signal may be encouraged to pursue additional Stacks programming, grants, or other ecosystem pathways where relevant.
The goal of Validate is to help you find out what is true.
Is this Only for Projects Already Building on Stacks?
No, not necessarily.
Validate is for builders working in or exploring the Stacks ecosystem, Bitcoin-native products, sBTC, DeFi, payments, developer tools, AI, infrastructure, or other ideas that may have a meaningful reason to build on and leverage Stacks.
Can I Still Apply After May 11?
Yes.
The cohort begins on May 11 with Week 0 activation, and applications will remain open through that week.
Core programming begins May 18.
What Does it Cost?
Validate is free to apply and free to participate.
The Stacks Foundry program is sponsored by the Stacks Endowment and operated in partnership with Stacks Labs.
