Q2 2026 was a quarter of strategic execution in a difficult macro environment. The Stacks ecosystem was focused on Bitcoin Staking, with key achievements including the publication of the Whitepaper, the testnet launch, and the solicitation of community feedback regarding the POX5 SIP.

Q1 2026 was a quarter of deliberate focus. The Treasury Committee aligned on a single primary strategic priority in Bitcoin Staking and directed resources accordingly. At the same time, the Endowment moved to extend runway, reduce spend, launch its first Ecosystem Grants cycle, and begin building the infrastructure to attract the next generation of serious builders to Stacks.
